Each Juvéderm treatment starts with a consultation where your goals are discussed and your expert injector suggests which Juvéderm product is ideal for you. Treatment typically lasts 30-60 minutes (depending on the size of the treatment area and the number of injections). It involves a number of injections with a small amount of filler in each one, which allows us to spread over the treatment area for a smoother result.
One of the main benefits of Juvéderm is that it requires no downtime, and you can return to your normal activities immediately after treatment. However, to ensure the best results possible, you may be advised to avoid strenuous activity, makeup, sun exposure or alcohol for 24 hours after treatment. Depending on the type of Juvéderm treatment received, results may last 9 months to a year.
